A day trip to St. Abbs Head Nature Reserve offered through the Senses group. Swirling winds, crashing waves and raucous birdscreeches. It's a gorgeous place both dramatic and pastoral, restful yet also an assault on the senses.

Can adults and children retreat together? Andrew and I with Pete and Jane Edwards gave this a try in May and had a great time. We were encouraged enough to organise a second family retreat for the weekend 1st October at the Notre Dame Retreat Centre in Skelmorlie.
