Half Hub Day: ‘Men on the Journey of Faith’

On Saturday 28 October Kenny will be hosting a half Hub Day, reflecting on male spirtuality using material by the Franciscan priest and writer Father Richard Rohr. In his book ‘Adam’s Return’ Richard Rohr writes: “Men are people, not gods, and they need to confront suffering loss and death before they can live in genuine wisdom and vision… Most men long for the support and nurture of other men to help in the journey toward masculinity, maturity, and the deeper experience of the divine.” Any thoughts, reflections, reactions? We’ll use a talk from Richard given at Greenbelt 2003 as our starting point for discussion. The Light lunch will be offered at 12.30pm, the meeting taking place from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Please let Kenny know if you intend to come for lunch. The meeting is open to men and women.
