St. Abbs Head Nature Reserve: A senses day trip

The eternal Yes

We aim to join our 'Yes's to George's, singing our creeds along with the birds, the waves and the swishing grass. Here is a day trip to St. Abbs Head Nature Reserve offered through the Senses group. Swirling winds, crashing waves and raucous birdscreeches. It's a gorgeous place both dramatic and pastoral, restful yet also an assault on the senses. Stacks and cliffs, a lighthouse, a wee loch, bumps and hollows, a wall garden and boat house are thrown in too. This will also be a particularly good time for sighting nesting seabirds. The exuberant response of creation

Right at the crest, where Mount Olives begins its descent, the whole crowd of disciples burst into enthusiastic praise over all the mighty works they had witnessed: Blessed is he who comes, the king in God's name! All's well in heaven! Glory in the high places! Some Pharisees from the crowd told him, "Teacher, get your disciples under control!" Arrangements

We will aim to meet at the Nature Reserve Centre by 10.30am and leave by c. 5pm. So that we can co-ordinate travel arrangements please contact me by email by this Saturday 28th May if you are coming (or considering it) together with whether you are offering spaces in your car or need a space in a car.
