Crossroad & Thresholds: An invitation to take time out with God at a time of change or decision-making

Friday 8th—Sunday 10th February 2019, Emmaus House, 14 Gilmore Place, Edinburgh, EH3 9NQ. Friday 7-9pm, Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday 2-5pm

A new year can sometimes bring new possibilities into focus. Perhaps there are new directions to explore, new challenges to face. There might be choices to make about which way to go, whether to stay put or move on, or decisions about how to face a change which is not of our choosing. 

This non-residential weekend retreat is an invitation to pause, to consider the way we’ve come as well as what might be ahead, to reflect on who we are and what brings us life, and encounter the One who is with us as companion and guide.

The weekend will include a mixture of input, guided reflection, individual quiet time and (if desired) a chance to meet with one-to-one with a trained prayer guide. There will also be time to rest and be creative in a comfortable, homely environment.

The event will be facilitated by Susan Mansfield, who is trained in spiritual direction with the Epiphany Group in Edinburgh and Ignatian Spirituality Centre, Glasgow. The cost for the weekend is £60 (£40 concession, or pay what you can), which includes lunch on Saturday and all tea & coffee.
